On Ash Wednesday we begin the solemn and penitential season of Lent with a reminder of our frailty and mortality: “remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return”. Our Ash Wednesday and Lenten observances call us to deeper reflection, prayer, worship, and study of scripture.
